    1. Ooh, thanks! This one's a bit different, rather than summarizing the story I went for the atmosphere of suspense. Glad you liked! M. S. Spencer

  3. Intriguing, makes me wonder if it's werewolves or human predators, my first thought was werewolves, but then the cover doesn't fit, so I had to go look at the blurb.

    1. Ha, so my scheme worked...it is a murder mystery suspense, but only mortals are involved. I think you'll like it anyway! You make a good point though, in this paranormal world, humans aren't necessarily the default character!

  4. This sounds good. The cover is kind of creepy with the guys peeking out.

    1. It is kind of creepy--but then the bad guys are creepy. Too late I realized i should have used a white truck rather than the men, but that's hindsight for you.

  5. Sounds interesting, but I agree that the cover looks kind of creepy. Makes me think that people are going to start popping out of my drywall.

  7. In just four sentences I really get the feel for the suspense.

  9. If I represented a publisher and you told me this logline in an elevator at an RWA conference, I would hand you my card and tell you to send me the synopsis and the complete MS because I would be very interested in the story.
As a reader, I would be very tempted to buy it.
The cover is creepy and I imagine the genre to be suspense, mystery or horror. If that's the case, the cover is perfect.
