  3. I truly hope you both enjoy the adventure. It's set in a place I love and horses were a huge part of my life growing up.

  5. Good job as is.
I would drop "higher" as that's assumed being in the mountains. Also "a" or "the" before sheepherder's would clarify on first read that the granddaughter is not the rancher. If a reader has to re-read, it's not working as it should. I like they have no choice but *to fight* as that's a stronger word choice. "Fighting" is diluted.
Even in the limited space, I'd like to know who's pursuing them. Which means I'd have to further investigate instead of instantly buy.
    HTH.

    1. Wow! Sounds like a modern twist on the tussle between ranchers and sheep people. I'm sure they'll show courage and cooperation.

  8. I read Big Horn Storm, and have to say; anyone who adores adventure/danger/romance won't be disappointed by this book. The tension continues to build to the very last moment. I had to stop every few pages to catch my breath. Yes, it's that fantastic :)
