  2. This sounds interesting. I already have the image of a sea captain at a regency ball looking for a wife.

    1. Not a sea captain but a brave man all the same. :) Thanks for dropping by.

  3. This log line screamed Regency to me, but the cover said contemporary. So, of course, I had to check out the Amazon site. :)

Very compelling blurb. I just might have to ask Santa to put this book in my stocking - and I don't generally read Regency stories. Nice work!

  6. Hi Heather -

We've had a lot of "seafaring" men in our family from a Great-Uncle who served in the Merchant Marines and Coast Guard during World War II and two Uncles who served then as well. The younger generation both kept up the legacy with one brother-in-law who served in Marines and a brother-in-law and my my husband who served in the Navy - all them during Vietnam!

All these men would totally agree that a life at sea were nothing compared to the danger of attempting polite conversation with their wives!

I love your books and can't wait to read Forsaking the Prize!
