  1. Interesting log line. I think it would definitely get to me to peek inside. But if *Brett* turns out to be an egotistical SOB, you'd lose me pretty quick. He has to have at least one redeeming quality. (Which I'm sure he does!)

    Best of luck!

  2. A redeeming quality for Brett?...Hmmm...Let's see...He's good-looking...and...Did I already mention that he's good-looking?

Thanks for your comment, Lynda. In all honesty, his outrageous behavior in the novel is contrasted by the way other characters react negatively to him, while he remains oblivious, thinking they all love him (as implied in the logline).

  3. Those who follow Brett know what motivates this unscrupulous bastard, and those that are just joining that party; soon will. Love to hate him, and keep going back for more, chapter after chapter, novel after novel. We team read and review at work for fun!

  5. Thanks for all of the above comments. It may sound hard-to-believe, but I actually knew guys like Brett (when I was younger). He certainly is someone I'd avoid as much as possible if he were real. LOL
