  4. Thanks, Cynthia! You wouldn't believe some of the research I have to do to write about a sex therapist heroine. ;-) The research takes me to some pretty strange websites! ;-)

    1. Thanks! And one thing you will always find in my books is dogs. ;-) I always have a Chinese crested hairless dog, but Sex and The Single Therapist also has a funny mixed breed and several cats. I really think pets can make a story and add lots of humor, too.

  6. Fun and sassy log line. Perfect for what (I assume) is a romantic comedy. Love the cover, too, btw.

    1. Hi, Lynda! Thanks for the kind words! Yes, the book is humorous. It's an R-rated romantic comedy-cozy mystery "mash-up." ;-) I usually tell people it's a comic romantic mystery, but that subgenre isn't as well known as the romantic suspense subgenre. I designed the cover, but since I can't draw even a stick figure, I hired a great graphics company (Streetlight Graphics) to create the cover.

  9. Hi, Vanessa! I have a humorous "author voice," so I don't think I could write a "dark" book if my life depended on it. My "Dr. Ally Skye, Sex Therapist" series offers lots of opportunities to be funny -- including some of the good doctor's therapy sessions. ;-)

    1. Thanks, Michele! Zack Crawford, the police detective hero, isn't happy when civilians get involved in his cases. Plus he's attracted to Ally and wants to keep her safe. He's also a bit of a prude and not of fan of her profession. He'll never admit it, but Zack's also just a little afraid she'll grade his performance in bed. ;-)

    1. Thanks! The scenes where Zack finds Ally has beaten him to a witness or has discovered a clue he missed were some of my favorite scenes. ;-)
