This blog is only for the log line, also called an elevator pitch or tagline, of your book. You know, the one that sells your book for you. One of the most famous log lines in history is: In space, no one can hear you scream. Now tell me you don't know what movie that's from and I'll tell you, you've been living under a rock for the last thirty years or so.
A great log line will make your book memorable. Please share yours with us!
Each month, we will have a contest for a $20 Amazon gift card. The contest starts the first day of the month 12:00 am and ends at 11:59 pm the last day of the month. To be entered into the monthly contest, readers need to leave a comment for the daily log lines. Each comment is equal to an entry into the current monthly contest. The more you comment, the more chances you have to win but please, please, PLEASE leave your email address so we can contact you should you win. Prizes not claimed within 72 hours are forfeit. The Log Line Blog management reserves the right to not award the prize should entries fall below fifteen entrants for the month or if the majority of the comments appear to have no relation to the blog entry of the day. Address all questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks for your participation!

BTS Tours and Freya’s Bower
are proud to present the Santa’s Little Helper Scavenger Hunt. 32 blogs have
linked together to allow you to hunt for 32 different words that will be hidden
in each post, so at the end of the hunt you will have 32 answers to plug into
the rafflecopter. Please DO NOT leave your answers in the comment section. We
want this to be fun for everyone, and not take the challenge out of the game.
So this is how it works.
All the blogs listed below
will post their game piece on their allotted date. You are looking for one word
(related to Christmas or Sex) to plug into the rafflecopter as your answer.
If you are on Close
Encounters with the Night Kind, and find your word (clues will be provided for
you in the banner) you log into the rafflecopter form and place your answer in
the box marked Close Encounters of the Night Kind. Follow along the entire
Scavenger Hunt and collect all 32 clues. We will be drawing for 4 $25 dollar
Gift Certificates to Freya’s Bower. Happy Hunting!!!

About the Author:
T. Sue VerSteeg was born and raised in the southeast central
region of Iowa in the small town of Grinnell. At the age of 21, she moved her
parents and family to the beautiful Ozarks of Missouri where they have since
made their homes. She has been blessed with the love of an adoring husband (who
is also her soul mate), two wonderful children, the best sister in the world
and truly amazing parents. Writing has always been a passion in her life as
most family members and friends can attest. Long letters, journals and short
stories can be found in nearly every drawer and filing cabinet in her home,
along with manuscripts and research documents. Her most sincere wish is that
you can find as much enjoyment in reading her stories as she did in the
creation of them.
