Each month, we will have a contest for a $20 Amazon gift card. The contest starts the first day of the month 12:00 am and ends at 11:59 pm the last day of the month. To be entered into the monthly contest, readers need to leave a comment for the daily log lines. Each comment is equal to an entry into the current monthly contest. The more you comment, the more chances you have to win but please, please, PLEASE leave your email address so we can contact you should you win. Prizes not claimed within 72 hours are forfeit. The Log Line Blog management reserves the right to not award the prize should entries fall below fifteen entrants for the month or if the majority of the comments appear to have no relation to the blog entry of the day. Ingeborg and Larion, I love the way you think...unfortunately, Melinda McCorkle is considered an 'Old Maid' by 1800's standards. Sometimes it seems easier to settle than to go for the (unpredictable) gold.
