  2. I've read this book and I highly recommend it! Anyone who loves planes and flying will be amazed at the depth of Ozeroff's knowledge and how interesting he makes each tidbit he relates! A very different look at WWII.

    1. I am glad you both find the line and subject compelling. I find myself drawn to read -- and write -- about the subject, as well.

    1. Thank you. My most intense inspiration came from family history. I was researching SS mass-murders in Ukraine, when I stumbled across a brief description of the destruction of the village from which my grandfather had emigrated in 1923. I employed the unsettling emotion to create the novel's pivotal scene.
